About Us (ALLINCARDS History)

I have been playing with baseball cards since 1986. I used to collect and catalog all my cards, then I would sell them on Ebay. Until one day my wife said enough is enough. But I couldn't help wanting to open all those packs of cards. So I decided why not open the cards for other people. About 5 years ago I began doing case breaks on freedomcardboard.com. I love to open the cases, boxes and packs of cards. I always look forward to the great pulls that come from them.

ALLINCARDS is not my full time job, although I certainly wish it could be. My family owns a small family business in Baltimore called Badges, Buttons...Plus!! Specialties. We manufacture name badges, plaques, awards and small quantity buttons in house. We also have access to over 100,000 different advertising specialties (pens, bags, mugs, buttons, fans, t-shirts, etc.) We have a graphic artist in house to help you with all your design needs (that would be my brother).

Frequently Asked Questions

What is a group case/box break?

A group break is when a group of individuals all get together to have a case or boxes of cards opened. There are many different formats for group breaks. See below.

What are the different types of breaks?

Team Breaks (random or draft, see below)

The type of sport (baseball, football or basketball) will determine how many slots there would be in a break.

For the most part:

Baseball - 30 teams, therefore, 30 different slots or 15 slots with 2 teams each
Basketball - 30 teams, therefore, 30 different slots or 15 slots with 2 teams each
Football - 32 teams, therefore 32 slots or 16 slots with 2 teams each

** Sometimes, if there are no good hits for a particular team no one particular person will be assigned to that team and the cards for that team will be divided amongst all the slots.

Hit Breaks (random or draft, see below)

When the break is centered around the hits in the packs. For example, National Treasures Baseball has 8 hits per pack. So there would be 8 slots for 1 box of National Treasure.

How are the break orders determined?

Random Break
I use random.org to determine the random order of the participants in the break. The 1st person on the list would get the 1st hit/box out of the break. The 2nd person would get the 2nd hit/box out of the break and so on.

Random Pillow Case Break
All boxes/packs are placed in a pillowcase. A list would be randomized using random.org and then the 1st person on that list would get the first box/pack pulled out of the pillowcase. The 2nd person would get the 2nd box/pack pulled out of the pillowcase and so on.

Draft Break
A list would be randomized using random.org and then the 1st person on that list would get to draft the card they want from the break.

Snake Draft Break
A snake draft is when the draft order goes from the top of the list to the bottom and then back up from the bottom to the top.

Example - A list would be randomized using random.org and then it would go in this order. 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1 - Slot 6 would get 2 picks in a row and slot 1 would get the first pick and the last pick.

Where can I watch the breaks?

All breaks are recorded live on USTREAM and then uploaded to YouTube.

Where can I see scans of the hits?

All hits are scanned and uploaded to Facebook and will also be a thread on Freedom Card Board.

How are the cards shipped?

Cards are packed nice and secure in cardboard boxes. All hits are penny sleeved and put into top loaders for extra protection.

Can you have an entire box or case broken for yourself?

Sure, if you wish to purchase an entire box or case for yourself out of one of my listings I will break that box or case for you, on or off camera, scan the cards, if you would like and ship the cards to you. (additional costs may apply).

What type of payments do I accept?

We accept payment through Paypal.
